Identify CE Sections

Choose one of these options:

  • “Don’t Identify” if you don’t want imported continuing education sections to have a specific 25Live Event Category or Event Type. Select this option if you don't plan to import CE sections into 25Live or you don't care about differentiating them from other imported sections. If you select this option, none of the other Continuing Education configuration settings described below are displayed.
  • “Identify with a Category” if you want imported continuing education sections to have a specific 25Live Event Category.
  • “Identify with an Event Type” if you want imported continuing education sections to have a specific 25Live Event Type.

Default CE Event Category

(displayed if you selected “Identify with a Category” above)

Enter the 25Live event category you want for all imported CE sections.

(displayed if you selected “Identify with an Event Type” above)

Enter the 25Live event type you want for all imported CE sections.

Note: CE sections will be given this event type, even if you have defined an event type translation rule. The translation rule will be ignored.

Recognize CE Sections by Subject Code

Select “Starts with” or “Ends with” and enter one or more subject codes. Separate multiple subject codes with commas.

If an imported section starts with or ends with one of the listed subject codes, the Interface will recognize it as a CE section.

Recognize CE Sections by Section Number

Select “Starts with” or “Ends with” and enter one or more section numbers. Separate multiple section numbers with commas.

If an imported section starts with or ends with one of the listed section numbers, the Interface will recognize it as a CE section.

Recognize CE Sections by Term Code

Select “Starts with” or “Ends with” and enter one or more term codes. Separate multiple term codes with commas.

If an imported section starts with or ends with one of the listed term codes, the Interface will recognize it as a CE section.

Recognize CE Sections by Subterm Code (Campus Solutions, Banner, and Universal only)

Meaning of "Subterm"

Subterm corresponds to the Part of Term Code in Banner and to the Session Code in Campus Solutions.

Begin entering the subterm code, then choose it from the drop-down list.

If an imported section has this subterm code, the Interface will recognize it as a CE section.

Recognize CE Sections by Academic Career (Campus Solutions, Colleague, Workday, and Universal only)

Begin entering the academic career, then choose it from the drop-down list.

If an imported section has this academic career, the Interface will recognize it as a CE section.

Recognize CE Sections by Credit Hours

Choose one of these options:

  • “No” if you don’t want the Interface to recognize imported CE sections by their zero credit hours.
  • “Yes” if you do want the Interface to recognize imported CE sections by their zero credit hours.
